Quarantine and Inspection Resources Pty Ltd was established by its Principal John Landos in 1996.

From 1981 to 1996 John was a Senior Executive Service with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and Head of Australia’s Animal and Plant Quarantine Service from 1990 to 1994.

Quarantine and Inspection Resources Pty Ltd has now successfully completed over 60 assignments in Australia and in South East Asia and the South Pacific.

The company specialises in the:

• Institutional development of quarantine services including the development of contemporary quarantine legislation
• Advice in relation to the development of import and export protocols
• Advice in relation to export food certification and regulation, including organic foods.
• Development of training material for quarantine and export inspection staff.
• Delivery of courses and workshops in relation to the WTO SPS Agreement and related issues such as pest risk analysis.
• Reviews of quarantine and food inspection services and/or specific components.

John has a range of highly qualified associates with a range of veterinary or plant science backgrounds that are able to assist with specific assignments.
