Tim Evans Director
Tim Evans has a diverse business background encompassing a combination of rural, banking, corporate finance and marketing experience.
Prior to establishing AAR, Tim worked with KPMG in Sydney for four years helping to set up its agribusiness practice. He was involved in the promotion and development of this practice, as well as undertaking and managing assignments and projects.
Before joining KPMG he worked in the banking and investment banking sectors and the water industry for a combined period of 12 years. During this time he was involved in a range of rural and agricultural projects.
Tim has formal agricultural qualifications as well as a Business Degree (with majors in Accounting and Finance) and a Master of Commerce (also majoring in Finance). He has completed formal dispute resolution and negotiating training and is an accredited tender evaluator.
In addition to Tims business background, he has practical experience in the rural sector, having spent his early years on properties in NSW and the Northern Territory. His experience ranges across sheepmeat and wool production; the beef and feedlot industries; grain production; and the dairy industry. Together with his business experience Tim has a genuine understanding of the issues facing organisations with exposure to the agricultural sector today.
